How to take your measurments

Here’s a simple guide on how to take measurements for panjabi/kurta:

  1. Chest/Bust Measurement:

    • Stand straight with your arms relaxed.
    • Wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under your armpits.
    • Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight.
    • Record the measurement in inches.

  2. Length Measurement:

    • Measure from the base of your neck (where your collarbone starts) down to your desired kurta length.
    • The standard lengths are:
      • Short kurta: Above the knee
      • Regular kurta: Knee-length
      • Long kurta: Ankle-length

  3. Sleeve Measurement:

    • Extend your arm slightly and bend it at the elbow.
    • Measure from the shoulder seam (where the panjabi/kurta sleeve starts) down to your wrist bone.
    • If you want full sleeves, measure to your knuckles.

Remember to keep the tape snug but not too tight, and take accurate measurements for a well-fitting panjabi/kurta!
