How to take your measurments
Here’s a simple guide on how to take measurements for panjabi/kurta:
-
Chest/Bust Measurement:
- Stand straight with your arms relaxed.
- Wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under your armpits.
- Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight.
- Record the measurement in inches.
-
Length Measurement:
- Measure from the base of your neck (where your collarbone starts) down to your desired kurta length.
- The standard lengths are:
- Short kurta: Above the knee
- Regular kurta: Knee-length
- Long kurta: Ankle-length
-
Sleeve Measurement:
- Extend your arm slightly and bend it at the elbow.
- Measure from the shoulder seam (where the panjabi/kurta sleeve starts) down to your wrist bone.
- If you want full sleeves, measure to your knuckles.
Remember to keep the tape snug but not too tight, and take accurate measurements for a well-fitting panjabi/kurta!
